COVID-19 update

Since 2008 the Camden Haven Chamber of Commerce and volunteers have loved bringing the Slice of Haven festival to our community.

It is a celebration of homegrown talent and gourmet food. Moreover, the festival is a source of community pride. People connect over a picnic blanket, music, food and drink. Visitors come and soak up a slice of the Camden Haven way of life while we locals pinch ourselves and think, how lucky are we to live here?

We, the organisers, had our community's safety at heart as we make the decision to postpone Slice of Haven 2020, set down for May 24.

We are disappointed for our sponsors, stallholders, our volunteers, and visitors because together we have created an event which thousands of people love dearly.

The health and safety of all in our Slice family come first. We plan to bring Slice back bigger and better when it is safe to do so.

We sincerely appreciate your support of Slice of Haven.

We wish the best health for you, your organisation, family and friends.

The festival will be held on the scenic riverbank behind the Laurieton United Services Club. As always, we will proudly celebrate the finest local produce, chefs, cooks, brewers, roasters, winemakers and entertainment on offer from the hinterland to the coast, in the laid-back atmosphere that can only be found at the Slice of Haven.

Only stallholders that meet our criteria of residing within 100 miles of the Camden Haven, providing food or other fare that is predominantly made or grown in the Camden Haven, wowing the committee with your take on this year's theme and of course including a dollop of indulgence and a dash of quirky!

With a limited number of sites available, stallholders and musicians are invited to register their interest in being involved with Slice of Haven as soon as possible. Preference will be given to vendors who embrace the annual theme, sell local produce and/or use local produce in their dishes.

EOI should include the price of a plate of food, what’s on it – especially the local content, ideally priced at $8 or less to ensure the festival is affordable and gives a tantalising taste of your gourmet skills.

Please take advantage of the early-bird site fees by sending your completed EOI, with copies of your current public liability insurance and food safety where appropriate, by 31st March 2020.

DO NOT include payment with your EOI. Successful applicants will be notified early May and invoiced at this time.

Final applications close on 30th April 2018.

A Stallholder Information Kit will be provided to all successful applicants prior to the event.
