The Slice of Haven Food & Wine Festival has become a leading gourmet lifestyle event on the Mid North Coast social calendar, attracting over 15,000 people in 2016.
This year the event will be held on May 21, co-inciding with the monthly Riverwalk Market. The Laurieton foreshore, from Armstrong Oyster's headquarters to the Laurieton United Services Club Jetty will be one long hive of food, fun and festivity.
The date also co-incides with the influx of social motorcycle riders heading to the Hastings region for the Ulysses Club annual general meeting, so the Slice of Haven theme for this year’s event will embrace a rebel cause
Stallholders will be encouraged to create menus with a rebellious twist, showcasing local produce in new and exciting gourmet ways and dress up their sites, wear your biker leathers to embrace and have fun the theme. Think Billy Idol and the song Rebel Yell and have visitors shouting more, more, more.

The festival will be held on the scenic riverbank behind the Laurieton United Services Club. As always we will proudly celebrate the finest local produce, chefs and entertainment on offer from the hinterland to the coast, in the laid-back atmosphere that can only be found at the Slice of Haven.
Only stallholders that meet our criteria of residing within 100 miles of the Camden Haven, providing food or other fare that is predominantly made or grown in the Camden Haven, wowing the committee with your take on this year's theme and of course including a dollop of indulgence and a dash of quirky!
With a limited number of sites available stallholders and musicians are invited to register their interest in being involved with the excitingly rebellious Slice of Haven as soon as possible. Preference will be given to vendors selling local produce and/or using local produce in their dishes.
EOI should include the price of a plate of food, what’s on it – especially the local content, ideally priced at $8 or less to ensure the festival is affordable and gives a tantalising taste of your gourmet skills.
Please take advantage of the Early-bird site fees by sending your completed EOI, with copies of your current public liability insurance and food safety where appropriate, by 31st March 2017.
Post; Slice of Haven - PO Box 428, Laurieton NSW 2443
DO NOT include payment with your EOI. Successful applicants will be notified early May and invoiced at this time.
Final applications close on 30th April 2017.
A Stallholder Information Kit will be provided to all successful applicants prior to the event.
